Description
This three-coin series launched in 2025 celebrates Canada’s most iconic animals. Struck in pure silver with selective gold plating, the reverse of each coin features a natural landscape by Trevor Tennant showcasing the polar bear, grey wolf, or elk. The obverse displays Steven Rosati’s gold-plated effigy of King Charles III.
Coin 1: Polar Bear
The great white bear is captured in a moment of quiet strength. As it navigates the sea ice, the polar bear literally steps beyond the central frame, placing its heavy paws onto the gold-plated rim where “Canada” and “2025” are inscribed.
Coin 2: Elk
This design offers an intimate look at a mature bull elk against a golden-plated forest riverbank. To emphasize the animal’s massive scale, the elk is positioned at the very edge of the coin next to the "Canada 2025" inscription, its majestic antlers reaching upward and breaking past the inner frame.
Coin 3: Grey Wolf
A grey wolf lays peacefully within an Ontario landscape. The wolf’s extended forepaws cross into the inner frame, resting next to the coin's official "Canada 2025" engravings.
