To create an account on cdncoin.com, simply click on the "Login/Signup" link to the left of the cart icon at the top of the website. Click on "Create your account", provide your name, email address and password, and your account is created.

Canadian sales tax is applicable only to orders shipped to a Canadian address. Most pure silver and pure gold items are Tax Exempt, regardless of the shipping destination. Taxes for individual provinces and territories are as follows: British Columbia 5% HST; Alberta 5% GST; Saskatchewan 5% GST, 5% PST; Manitoba 5% GST, 7% HST; Ontario 13% HST; Quebec 5% GST, 9.5% PST; Newfoundland 15% HST; Nova Scotia 15% HST; New Brunswick 15% HST; Prince Edward Island 5% GST, 10% PST; Northwest Territories 5% GST; Nunavut 5% GST; Yukon Territory 5% GST. Please note, if an item is Tax Exempt, this will be noted on your order before checking out.

Most online orders can be immediately processed by credit card using VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Paypal. Canadian Coin & Currency reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to require an alternate method of payment other than credit card for any order we deem to be necessary. Items purchased by credit card can be shipped only to the billing address of the credit card provided. If you wish to have your package delivered to a PO Box or alternate address, you must provide secure cleared payment by bank draft or wire transfer. If you would like to pay by wire transfer or other electronic fund transfer, bank draft or postal money order, please contact info@cdncoin.com.

FIRST ORDERS OVER $3000
Should your first order with Canadian Coin & Currency be over $3000 we may, at our sole discretion, require that payment be made by a secure method such as bank draft or wire transfer in order to comply with our Anti-Fraud protocol. Your credit card will not be charged, but is required to reserve your online purchase. We will contact you immediately with instructions should an alternate method of payment be required. Subsequent purchases may be processed by credit card once an ongoing customer relationship has been established.

We welcome you to pick up your order at our retail showroom in Richmond Hill, Ontario (North Toronto). Please do not come to pick up your order until you have received a Pickup Confirmation email. There is no charge for in store pick up. If you require same day pick up, please contact us by email or telephone, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Our "Free Shipping on Orders over $150" applies to select orders. All items in the order must qualify for the order to ship at no cost. This promotion is only available for orders shipping to Canadian addresses.

Free shipping may not qualify for orders:
- Shipping outside of Canada.
- Weighing more than 3.5lbs.
- That contain both qualifying and non-qualifying products

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Canadian Coin & Currency respects your right to change your mind. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, we offer an unconditional 15 day return/exchange policy.

If you choose to cancel your subscription after the first issued coin, a cancellation fee of 25% of the purchase price of the remaining coins in the subscription may be applied. The cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card at the time of cancellation.

For a return, send us your items securely packaged using a reliable shipping service with tracking.

As soon as we receive your package, we will call or email you to acknowledge its safe arrival. All returns are subject to authentication. All items must be returned in the original packaging in which it was received, along with all certificates, etc., together with a copy of the original invoice or sales receipt. Any items altered from their original shipping state will not be accepted for exchange or return.

To return or exchange goods, we ask that you contact us prior to shipping. Once your return shipment is received, we will follow up with you and either replace the unsatisfactory item or issue a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping and handling). The refund for your product will be credited in the same payment manner. While you may return an item for any reason, we will appreciate you indicate the reason for the return so we may continue to improve our product offerings and service.

For items ordered as sets, collections or bundles, the full set is to be returned for any refund or exchange.

Please note, we are not responsible for loss or damage that occurs to items prior to their arrival at our facility. Please ensure your items are securely packaged for their return.

CANADIAN COIN REWARDS PROGRAM

Yes, the Collector Credits Rewards program is available to all visitors at www.cdncoin.com and our retail location at 10355 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Yes. The Canadian Coin Rewards program is available for both online and in store purchases.

No.  Collector Credits Rewards can only be redeemed as gift certificates which are applied to orders at cdncoin.com and in store purchases.

No.  Collector Credits Rewards can only be redeemed with Canadian Coin & Currency.

Virtually every product at cdncoin.com has a Collector Credits value, although from time to time some products may be exempt from the program. 

Most purchases will earn you Collector Credits, but one important exception is that no Collector Credits can be earned on a purchase in which Collector Credits are also being redeemed, regardless if the amount of the purchase exceeds the value of the credits.

A summary of your available and pending credits can be found by clicking on the gold ‘REWARDS’ button at the bottom left on cdncoin.com.  When shopping in store, your account balance will display on the bottom of your purchase receipt.

If shopping online, log in to your account. Click on the gold 'REWARDS' button in the bottom left to open the Rewards dashboard. Next, click on 'All Rewards'. If you have enough points, there will be a 'REDEEM' button. Upon clicking redeem, you will be taken to a page that shows the coupon code with a button to 'APPLY' code which will automatically apply that coupon code to the checkout. Once you have redeemed your points for a reward, the reward will remain in your account until you decide to use it on a purchase. 

If shopping in store, your sales associate will be able to advise you as to how many points you are able to redeem on your purchase.

Any credits that you originally earned on the purchase of that item will be deducted from your current Collector Credits balance.

If you believe that there is an error in your Collector Credits balance, contact us at info@cdncoin.com and we will check into it and correct the problem if necessary.

Anyone who purchases a minimum of $1,000 worth of eligible products from Canadian Coin, exclusive of taxes or shipping, will automatically be enrolled in the Vault Insider Program. A summary of your membership level and annual spend can be found by clicking on the gold ‘REWARDS’ button at the bottom left on cdncoin.com.

There are five levels in the Canadian Coin Rewards program. The first level, Collector, does not require a minimum spend. The four levels of the Canadian Coin Rewards VIP program include the following: Insider Level ($1000 annual minimum spend); Premium Level ($2000 annual minimum spend); Prestige Level ($5,000 annual minimum spend); and Elite Level ($10,000 annual minimum spend). No, the Rewards VIP program is designed for our coin and banknote collectors, so purchases of precious metals and jewellery do not count towards membership.

Most products available from Canadian Coin will count towards your membership, but there are a few that do not.

Your Rewards VIP membership begins the day you qualify for the program, for the remainder of the year and the following full calendar year.

No, your Rewards VIP membership is for your exclusive use and cannot be transferred to a third party.
