The Design:
The coin itself appears a beautiful image of a Peacock. The body of this elegant and colourful bird is in high relief; the feathers feature enamel coating and multi-color Crystal inserts. The obverse features the Coat of Arms of Nauru with the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF NAURU” , “500g”, “$5”, the date 2022 and “Ag 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
