Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
The Design:
Exclusively designed by Canadian comic book artist Jason Fabok, the original art on the reverse brings together three iconic Super Heroes that are at the heart of the Justice League. DC Universe’s powerful Trinity are the very image of strength and resolve: there’s Batman, whose billowing dark cape hints at his preference to work in the shadows; a steadfast Superman who, in contrast to Batman, openly uses his abilities for the good of humanity; and uniting them at the centre, an image of Wonder Woman standing in an action pose that conveys the fearlessness of an Amazonian warrior. Canadian colorist Brad Anderson has re-created all the iconic colours of their costumes, which are heightened by the golden gleam of the engraved contemporary background.
