This $20 pure silver coin is part of a series from the Royal Canadian Mint that celebrates Canadian Landscapes. This coin presents a unique view of Lake Magog, British Columbia’s Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park and the landscape of the Canadian Rockies.
The Design:
Canadian artist Stéphanie Gauvin has created an artistic rendering of Lake Magog, located in Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park. The pyramid like shape of Mount Assiniboine looms over the lake. Lake Magog’s mirror-like water glistens in the early light, surrounded by the valley and trees.
