The Design:
The reverse image features a battle of unprecedented proportions between two of the foremost SUPER HEROESTM of our time! Descending upon a crouched BATMANTM, SUPERMANTM wears a costume that is a variation of the one seen in the movie Man of SteelTM. Here, he raises a clenched fist and bears an expression of utmost intensity as he prepares to use his super strength against Gotham City’s DARK KNIGHTTM. For his part, BATMANTM's grimace is intensified by the white glow of his eyes beneath metallic battle armour, which is bulkier and more resilient than his own iconic costume—a strategy that could help even the odds in a tension-filled combat that pits human strength and smarts against formidable alien super powers..
Superman:
Established with firm Canadian roots, SUPERMANTM was the first SUPER HEROTM, spawning countless new characters in the DC COMICSTM pantheon. He was the inspiration for a new archetype that not only still exists today, but is more popular than ever. Many important Canadian visionaries continue to shape the DC COMICSTM Universe even today, lending their talents as storytellers and further building on the history that began in 1938.
