Kirk (played by Canadian actor William Shatner).  The coin is dated 2016 with a $10 denomination and weighs just over one half ounce of pure silver.  The mintage is just 12,500, and as a pure silver coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is GST/HST exempt.

The Design:

The coin features Captain James Tiberius Kirk, wearing his gold coloured uniform as he commands the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise from his chair on the bridge.  To the right of Captain Kirk is an intricately engraved U.S.S. Enterprise, with its registration number NCC-1701 on the saucer shaped hull and the twin warp nacelles.  Engraved in the background is the Starfleet’s Delta Shield Insignia.
