Description
Four different commemorative coins were introduced for circulation in 2015, including two different $2 coins and two different 25 cent coins. This special edition collector set includes all four of these coins in near perfect numismatic uncirculated condition in an attractive presentation folder. Mintage of this set is limited to just 15,000.
The two dollar coins include a Sir John a Macdonald design marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Canada’s first prime minister and father of Confederation, plus a coin marking the 100th anniversary of John McCrae’s “In Flanders Fields”.
The 25 cent coins are both done in colour using new processes to create vibrant and striking contrast. The first coin marks the 50th anniversary of Canada’s flag with a full colour flag design, while the second coin features a war and remembrance theme with a bright red poppy.
The coins come sealed in protective pliofilm, and are displayed in a classic presentation folder.
