This $20 pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint is both a limited edition collectible and a spectacular work of art. Several previous coins with Murano glass have sold out quickly and gone up in value in the secondary market.  As a pure silver coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is GST/HST exempt.  Mintage is limited to 12,500.

The Design:

The design features engraved and painted green leaves and white flowers of the broadleaf arrowhead. A stunning, translucent turtle made of Venetian glass and hand-crafted by Giuliano Donaggio – a master glassmaker in Murano, Italy – sits upon a floating log in the center of the image field.
