This 2015 $10 pure silver proof coin represents Adventure Canada through a symbolic image of Windsurfing.  The coin weighs just over half an ounce of pure silver, and is engraved with the words “CANADA,” the face value of “10 DOLLARS” and the year “2015”.  With a mintage of 20,000, this pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, this coin is GST/HST exempt.

The Design:

Canadian artist Ken Ryan has created an invigorating design of a windsurfer heading out from shore in search of adventure, her feet planted firmly on the board and all muscles flexed as she catches the wind in her sail and begins gliding moving forward. 

Every season and every geographical region has something new and exciting to offer – like sailing across open water with waves directly beneath your feet. This coin is the first in the new Adventure Canada series.
