The Design:
The design features Bugs Bunny standing with one leg crossed over the other, leaning against a frosted background element. He flashes a bucked tooth smile as he holds a carrot. Peering out, his expression makes it seem as though he is saying his most famous catchphrase “What's up, Doc” to the viewer.
Bugs Bunny:
Someone from the office at Warner Bros. studios labelled the submission from animator Ben “Bugs” Hardaway as “Bugs Bunny” and sent it on. The drawings were never used however the label on the drawings was used in the 1940 cartoon “A Wild Hare”, where Bugs Bunny was introduced. From this point on, the name caught on for the crazy rabbit. This wabbit who always finds trouble wherever he goes, but always gets the last laugh, was always characterized as a wild and mischievous hare.
He is known for his legendary quotes, such as "Eh, what's up, Doc?", "Of course you realize, this means war.", "I knew I shoulda taken that left turn at Albakoykee", "What a maroon!", "Hey, Laughing Boy!", "Duck season!", "He don't know me very well, do he?", "Gee, ain't I a stinker?", "This could be a beginning of a BEAUTIFUL friendship", "Ahhh... it's a living.", "What's all the hubbub, bub?", , and many more.
