The Design:
Designed by Canadian artist Germaine Arnaktauyok, the reverse features a polar bear and its cub in its natural habitat. This coin was struck in a quarter-ounce of 99.99% pure gold in a quality proof finish with mirror background, a technique that gives the fur of the polar bear a lifelike texture.
