Description
This 2014 $20 coin is part of a four coin series featuring the bison, the largest of all land animals in North America. They are a symbol of strength and an important part of the history of the Prairie region of Canada. Mintage is limited to just 7,500 coins worldwide. As a pure silver coin, this item is GST/HST exempt.
The Design:
The coin features a male and female plains bison standing side-by-side in the grassy landscape on a summer day. Above the serene bison the word "CANADA," the date "2014," and the face value of "20 DOLLARS." appear below. Edge lettering is also featured on this coin with the words “1 oz fine silver 1 oz argent pur” engraved in a repeating pattern.
