Description
This 2024 $250 fine silver coin shows off Canada’s national pride in a big way. Struck in just over one kilogram (32.15 troy ounces) of pure silver, the inspirational emblem pulsates and shines brightly when it catches the light.
The Design:
The effect is made possible by design elements including hundred of tiny, micro-engineered mirrors all working together to reflect light in a certain way that creates the illusion of movement, and also reveals the leaf’s complex vein pattern.
The coin has a huge diameter of 102 mm and comes displayed in a premium RCM branded wood case. Mintage is extremely limited to only 400 pieces. HST/GST exempt.
The obverse features the posthumous effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, along with the engraved face value “250 dollars” and the year “2024”.
