Description

This 2023 $15 fine silver coin takes a fun and playful perspective of the Rabbit. Designed by Canadian artist Lily Kao, the coin is inspired by the Chinese legend of the Jade (Moon) Rabbit and features a whimsical rabbit jumping over a crescent moon, representing the promise of new beginnings in 2023. Mintage is limited to 18,888. HST/GST exempt.

The Design:

Your coin’s reverse design features the same folk art style seen on the fine silver 2022 Lunar Year of the Tiger coin, which was inspired by the traditional Chinese cloth tiger toy.

Year of the Rabbit:

Those born in the year of the rabbit are typically friendly, outgoing and prefer the company of others. They also prefer to avoid conflict. In confrontational situations, Rabbits approach calmly and with consideration for the other party. Rabbits believe strongly in friends and family, and are sophisticated, expressive, well-mannered and stylish.

Add the year of the rabbit coin to your annual lunar coin collection, or it can be the perfect personalized gift for someone born in the year of the rabbit (2023, 2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939, 1927). The Year of the Rabbit is marked from January 22, 2023 to February 9, 2024.
