Description
Our fascination with UFOs and unexplained phenomena is featured on this 2022 $20 Yukon Encounter fine silver coin, which transforms as select elements of the full colour image luminesce with the included black light flashlight. This is the fifth coin in an ongoing annual series, with previous issues selling out immediately and becoming extremely difficult to obtain in the secondary market.
On the night of December 11, 1996, at least 31 people in four different areas of the Yukon reported seeing a UFO in the sky. Then turn on the included black light to reveal greater details of a circular craft as envisioned by artist Neil Hamelin. Mintage is limited to 7,500. GST/HST exempt.
