This $25 fine silver coin features an extraordinarily high 6 mm relief that uses more than 400 polygon facets to reflect light like a fine gemstone. Mintage is limited to just 2,500. HST/GST exempt.
The grizzly bear is Canada’s second largest carnivore. Its scientific name, Ursus arctos horribilis, translates from Latin to “terrifying northern bear”. However, while it is oft linked to danger, the brown bear remains a highly respected symbol in Canadian culture. It is synonymous with strength, confidence and leadership, as well as rest and quietude. Bears are known to be particularly intelligent and resourceful, though while they work hard they also rest hard, hibernating up to 7 months per year.
