The Falcon: Symbol of Ancient Egypt
Revered as the "king" of birds, the fierce falcon in ancient Egypt represented prosperity. In ancient Egyptian culture, the bird was the living emblem of Horus, the monumental god of the sky. His right eye symbolized the power of the sun, while his left eye embodied the healing energy of the moon. As sacred guardians, falcon talismans were believed to shield their owners from evil forces, natural disasters, and misfortune.
