Description
This three part collection creates a unique Canadian flag comprised of two rectangular 1.5 ounce fine silver coins on each side and a half ounce fine silver maple leaf shaped coin in the centre. The designs on the three irregular-shaped coins pay tribute to the Peregrine Falcon - one of Canada’s fastest-moving species whose rebounding population is proof that conservation efforts can make a difference. Collectibility is enhanced by the extremely low limited mintage of just 1,000 sets. HST/GST exempt.
The Design:
A first-time collaboration with artist David Caesar. The reverse of all three coins features a single, highly detailed image that celebrates the positive outlook for the Peregrine Falcon, a once-endangered species.
- The engraved images on the first $25 rectangular coin show cliffs and an outstretched wing
- The maple-leaf shaped $10 coin has the image of a peregrine falcon
- The second rectangular $25 coin’s images show a city and a wing outstretched
