This 2019 two ounce $30 fine silver coin invites you to a special backyard gathering where several Canadian bird species have gathered around a nesting box. The mintage of just 3,000 pieces adds to its collectability. GST/HST exempt.
The Design:
The colourful birds include a curious blue jay, a little downy woodpecker, a northern cardinal, and a perched purple martin. Selective colour highlights the birds and a few leaves of the catalpa tree. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
