This coin is struck in just over one full ounce of 99.99% fine silver, with mintage limited to 6,500 worldwide. As a pure silver coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, it is GST/HST exempt.
The Design:
The design features a side profile of a mountain bluebird in flight. The songbird’s fine features are showcased from its pointed black bill to the feathers of the tail and outstretched wings by recreating the bluebird’s sky blue plumage. The sky blue adds vibrant colour against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
