About the Walleye:
The walleye is a torpedo shaped fish with colourings that can range from dark olive brown to yellowish gold with flecks marking its side. The walleye can be told apart by the dark marking at the rear base of its dorsal fin and the white patch on the lower tip of its tail. The walleye's body is covered with rough scales, and has small, sharp bones that protrude out around its gills. The walleye have a low light vision and are sensitive to brightness. They generally usually feed in shallow water at dawn and dusk. During the day, they hide out in the shadows of the weeds.
