This pure silver coin features the Muttaburrasaurus: a genus of ornithopod dinosaur first discovered by Doug Langdon on a property near Muttaburra, Queensland. Among its most distinctive features, the Muttaburrasaurus possessed a skull marked by a large, bulbous, and hollow chambered snout. Paleontologists believe this nasal structure acted as a natural resonator, amplifying the dinosaur's calls.
