The Design:
The reverse of each coin displays the magnificent animal in its natural habitat. Included in this image is a crystal element highlighting the geographical location of each animal. This exquisite collection reminds us how fragile the earth’s animals really are.
The Grévy's zebra whose coat is vertically patterned with black and white stripes that are much narrower that those of the plain zebra. These zebras are able to run up to 64 kilometres per hour through the semi-desert grasslands of Africa.
