This 2014 $20 pure silver proof coin beautifully depicts the beautiful and powerful Bald Eagle, a North American icon. As a pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is HST / GST exempt.
The Design:
The design features the Bald Eagle with its wings extended, perched on a branch of a pine tree. Viewed in profile, the wings, head and tail are rendered in detail. In its claws is a freshly caught fish. This coin is selectively gold plated around the rim of the coin, the eagle and the fish, to add contrast and create a spectacular work of numismatic art. The coin is engraved with the word "CANADA," the date "2014" and the face value of "20 DOLLARS." It weighs just over one ounce of pure silver.
