The reverse of this 5c sterling silver coin coin showcases a ceremonial baton, sash, and military drums bearing the regiment's historic insignia. A nod to their tactical heritage, these drums were originally used to signal and alert troops during active combat and later were used to set marching tempos and gather soldiers in encampments. The design also pays tribute to the regiment's marching band which played the first public performance of "O' Canada" on June 24, 1880.
