Description
In 1999, the Royal Canadian Mint issued a Millennium edition specimen set that replaced the regular $2 design with the new “Nunavut” $2 coin. The caribou quarter and loon dollar in this set were not issued for circulation.
Mintage: Only 45,104 sets were produced. This makes the 1999 Millennium edition the lowest mintage specimen set in 20 years.
