To mark the close of the millennium, the Royal Canadian Mint issued 12 different commemorative issue 25 cent coins for circulation, and a much smaller quantity of this set of the same designs in double struck frosted cameo proof in sterling silver for collectors.  The coins are housed in an attractive oval display case, with each design featuring an element of Canada’s history.
