Description

This 1907 one cent piece, produced by The Mint Birmingham, Ltd., is a beautiful example of the Edwardian strike. One of only 800,000 minted, this rare coin exhibits brilliant copper tones combined mingled with varying shades of chestnut brown. This attractive toning highlights the intricate portrait of King Edward VII, creating a striking resemblance of the monarch. The reverse maple wreath design maintains fantastic detail throughout. With only nine examples graded higher by PCGS, this is an exquisite and delightful coin (4/15).
