Description
This 1862 New Brunswick ten cent piece is an excellent example of its grade. Original mint lustre graces the surface of this coin, highlighting the well struck details of the design. The monarch portrait of Queen Victoria reveals fine features in the intricate rendering of her sweeping hair and laurel crown. The reverse, showcasing St. Edward's crown accompanied by two maple boughs, also remains in excellent condition. A slight die crack can be noted on the obverse side at the 4 o'clock position, through the 'K' of 'BRUNSWICK'. Overall, a fantastic coin, withonly one circulated example graded higher by PCGS (4/11).
