Each year the Royal Canadian Mint issues a small quantity of premium four piece fine gold coin sets. This newest rendition has a mintage of just 450 and features a reverse proof finish with a new take on Canada's classic maple leaf design. Each coin features a dazzling multifaceted maple leaf with geometric shapes that reflect light in multiple directions at the same time, creating an ever-changing array of golden light as the coins are moved or as the light source changes. The premium presentation matches perfectly with the coin design, featuring the coins inlayed into a wooden case shaped like a Canadian maple leaf. HST/GST exempt.
The Design:
On all four coins, the reverse includes the words CANADA, the coin's purity and weight, and the year 2023. Each obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susana Blunt.
