Description
Christmas is a magical time, and the magic of the season is showcased on this large format 2023 lenticular 50 cent coin. The whimsical design creates a sense of motion, featuring two interlaced images of a polar bear and arctic hare sledding down a slope past pine trees adorned with holiday stars.
The Design:
At first, the hare looks on as the polar bear prepares to slide down the hill. But tilt the coin to change the viewing angle, and the rabbit has hopped onto the sled to join in the fun as the animal friends coast down the slope. This coin is fun for all ages and makes a perfect stocking stuffer. The obverse features the posthumous effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Suanna Blunt.
