Description

The Design:
The design features a portrait of two bald eagles on a pine bough. The majestic raptors are positioned in a way that best showcases their features and implies motion, with the perched eagle holding its wings outward while gazing at its companion, while the newly landed eagle tries to secure its grip. The obverse features the posthumous transitional effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, including the double dates of reign 1952-2022.
