Description
This 2023 fine silver coin adds a chapter to the story of Canada’s evolution, marking the 150th anniversary of Prince Edward Island joining Canadian confederation in 1873. Mintage is limited to just 5000 coins. HST/GST Exempt.
The Design:
The design features a collage of classic P.E.I. sights and symbols. From the Confederation Bridge that connects the island to the mainland, to the iconic lighthouse that bridges the past and present, this limited edition collectible is an inspirational ode to Canada’s smallest province, a land cradled on the waves. The obverse features the posthumous transitional effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, including the double dates of reign 1952-2022.
