The coin is shaped as a full sphere with a large 50 mm diameter and a weight of three ounces of fine silver. The surface of the coin presents all the continents in superb detail in a vibrant green colour, while the oceans feature a rich translucent blue enamel over a slightly reflective silver. The coin has a legal tender face value of $5 in Barbados and is limited to a mintage of 2,999 worldwide. The bottom of the coin includes the denomination and the coat of arms of Barbados. The coin comes displayed in a premium presentation case including an acrylic cover allowing for a 360 degree view of the three dimensional globe. GST/HST exempt.
