Description

The bison is a species of great historical and cultural importance which continues to capture our imagination through its imposing stature and innate strength. The coin has a weight of just over two ounces of fine silver with a large 50 mm diameter. Mintage is limited to just 4500 coins. HST/GST exempt.

An inspiring emblem of strength, the coin showcases a side-view portrait of two plains bison bulls as they would have appeared in years gone by when they dominated the vast Canadian prairies.
