While accounts of fierce Viking battles and invasions abound in both historical records and in fiction, some of the earliest physical evidence of Viking helmets have been uncovered on the eastern coast of Sweden, dating back to between 550 and 800 AD. This ten ounce fine silver coin has been fashioned as an early Viking helmet, bringing history to life with exceptional artistry and realism, featuring intricate details of the helmet and an antique finish. The coin has a $10 legal tender status in Solomon Island and a limited mintage of just 300 pieces. GST/HST exempt.
