This unique 2022 $500 diamond shaped coin combines innovation and extremely low mintage with the rarity and beauty of over five ounces of fine gold enhanced with a real Canadian mined diamond. A diamond’s cut shapes the sparkle that makes it an everlasting symbol of love burning bright. Nowhere is this more evident than with this extraordinary coin, which is both shaped like a diamond and includes a real inset .20 carat Forevermark Black Label diamond. The diamond is one of the last to be extracted from the Victor Mine in Northern Ontario. Adding to its collectability, the mintage is extremely limited to just 125 pieces. HST/GST exempt.
The Design:
Your coin’s distinctive shape and multi-faceted design are an exact reproduction of a patented trademark diamond cut from Crossworks Manufacturing, as seen on Forevermark diamonds. Embedded on one of the crown main facets, the 0.20 ct. Forevermark Black Label Round Diamond is the inspiration for the coin’s shape, and it was one of the last diamonds pulled from the Victor Mine in Northern Ontario before its closure. The year “2022” is engraved on another crown main facet, while the word “CANADA”, the denomination of “500 DOLLARS” and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt appear on the largest facet (the table).
