These colossal creatures have captivated imaginations ever since fossils were first discovered, and this three-coin fine silver set celebrates three of the most well-known and terrifying dinosaurs in the Age of Dinosaurs Coin Set: the Tyrannosaurus rex, the Triceratops, and the Velociraptor. Mintage is limited to only 999. Each of the coins has a face value of $5 in Solomon Islands.

The T-rex is one of the most fearsome animals of all time. Its name comes from Greek and means "tyrant lizard king." Its bite was three times more powerful than that of a lion and it could grow up to 12 metres long and six metres tall.
Triceratops:
The Triceratops is one of the most popular dinosaurs, and with its three horns and bony frill, it could even go up against T-rex in a fight. This herbivore could grow up to eight metres long, and weigh from six to 12 tons.
Velociraptor:
With its sharp teeth, huge claws on the back legs, and prominent fame originating in the Jurassic World franchise, the Velociraptor is small and carnivorous dinosaur, and is also thought to be feathered. It could grow up to 1.8 metres in length, and weigh up to 25 kilograms.
