Description
This limited collector edition 2021 one ounce silver maple leaf coin uses new Super Incuse technology to create a 1.5 mm deep maple leaf impression set against a classic brilliant field. The coin also marks the 25th anniversary of the maple leaf being Canada’s official arboreal emblem by adding a “25” privy mark. Mintage is limited to 6,000. HST/GST exempt.
The Design:
The coin’s reverse features Walter Ott’s iconic sugar maple leaf design, now transformed into a deep impression in the coin while maintaining all of the ultra-fine details. The design also includes the engraved words “Canada” and “fine silver 1 oz argent pur”, as well as the purity standard of “9999”. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, along with the engraved face value “20 dollars” and the year “2021”.
