Just as the story of Harry Potter evolved from the imagination of author J.K. Rowling and her famous book series, this fine silver “coin note” has evolved from both the magic of the Harry Potter series and new minting technology. Struck in three grams of fine silver, the $1 legal tender coin note measures 150 mm (about 6 inches) by 70 mm (about 2.75 inches). Mintage is limited to 20,000 worldwide. HST/GST exempt.

The Design:

It features a proof quality finish with the Harry Potter crest in selective colour on the front and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on the obverse encircled by the country name “Samoa” the silver fineness and weight. By encasing the coin in a clear laminate, it can also double as a collectible bookmark.
