This 2020 $5 proof fine silver January coin features a sparkling coloured Swarovski® crystal at the centre, flanked by three smaller clear Swarovski® crystals and surrounded by a Celtic art-inspired design. The coin is dated 2020 with a $5 denomination and weighs just over one quarter ounce of pure silver.  Adding to its collectability, the mintage is extremely limited to just 5,000.  HST/GST exempt.

The Design:

The reverse design by artist Pandora Young is an intersection of art and mathematics, and features a stylized pattern arranged according to the base-six system. Inspired by the Celtic triskele, the engraved art incorporates three clear Swarovski® crystals into our birthstone celebration of those born in January (garnet), as represented by the gem-like Swarovski® crystal at the centre of the coin. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
