The Designs
The reverse designs were beautifully rendered by Canadian artist Maurade Baynton and feature a selectively colored creature set against a finely engraved backdrop representing their natural habitat. The obverse of each coin displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
