The fourth O Canada! coin honours Canada’s most recognized military tradition since 1959. The coin’s design gives you a prime view of the Changing of the Guard ceremony in Ottawa, ON, where the Band of the Ceremonial Guard leads the parade en route to Parliament Hill.

Designed by Canadian artist Pandora Young, the reverse is a front view of the Changing of the Guard ceremony in Ottawa, Ont., where the Band of the Ceremonial Guard leads the procession. The reverse includes the curve text “CANADA” above a maple flourish and the year “2020”. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
