The reverse image design by artist Jori van der Linde features an engraved outer ring of Roman numerals that capture the look of a classic timepiece. An inner ring of Swarovski® crystals surrounds a colourful zodiac-themed image, pairing the constellation and symbol associated with each of the 12 symbols: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. The obverse features the word "Canada", the face value "5 Dollars", the year "2019", and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
