Description
One by one, the 12 zodiac constellations rise and march across the night sky in the Royal Canadian Mint’s 2019 Zodiac series. This $5 fine silver Zodiac coin celebrates harmony with the sign Libra (September 23 – October 22). Represented by the symbol of scales, those born under this sign are known for being kind, gentle and lovers of beauty, obsessed with symmetry, harmony and peace. Mintage is limited to just 4,000. HST/GST exempt.
The Design:
While an engraved outer ring mimics the look of a timepiece, a ring of genuine Swarovski® crystals frames the centre image and adds a star-like sparkle to the design. The obverse features the word “CANADA”, the face value “5 DOLLARS”, the year “2019” and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
