The Design:
The design comes from an original photograph by Peter McKinnon which captures the snow-capped mountain set against a backdrop of fluffy clouds. The image becomes doubly interesting with a second image of the mountain and sky reflected in the mirror-like surface of Vermilion Lakes. A final design element features a classic engraved frame in the shape the camera lens that first captured the scene.
Mount Rundle:
Mount Rundle is a prominent wedge-shaped peak immediately south of the town of Banff, with lofty views over the Bow Valley in Banff National Park, Alberta. It is one of the most popular climbs in the Canadian Rockies, with the summit bid beginning in the Town of Banff at parking adjacent to the golf course past Bow Falls in Banff National Park.
