The Design:
The intricate design engraved in amber coloured mother of pearl presents a double image of a friendly dog in the foreground with the home in the background where he provides companionship, affection and protection. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "SOLOMON ISLANDS" and "2018", "5 oz Ag 999" and "ELIZABETH II".
