Description

This 2018 $10 fine silver coin celebrates Canadian hockey and family togetherness. Canadian artist John Mantha has crafted an expressive collectable which depicts a parent pulling their child on a wooden sled alongside a stretch of freshly cleared ice on a pond. You can feel the swell of joyful anticipation as they approach the game.

The coin is dated 2018 with a $10 denomination and weighs just over one half ounce of pure silver. The mintage is limited to 7,000, and as a pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, is HST/GST exempt.

The Design:

The coloured design on the reverse by Canadian artist John Mantha features the team logo of the Ottawa Senators® above an outdoor scene, where an adult is pulling a child on a wooden sled alongside a stretch of freshly cleared ice on a pond. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
