This fascinating 2017 colour $20 ultra low mintage coin is the fourth in the series that showcases the art of illusion and brings you two images for the price of one. It features a stunning Canadian landscape together with an optical illusion of wildlife. The coin weighs just over one ounce of pure silver. This coin features an image of Canadian landscape with an optical illusion of a pronghorn.
The mintage is extremely low at just 5,500. As pure silver coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is HST/GST exempt.
The Design:
The reverse design features a wheat field beautifully crafted in colour. The viewpoint is from deep within the grass, looking towards a red barn in the distance. Stalks of wheat tower overhead, but on closer examination, a pronghorn emerges from the scene, shaped by the heads of wheat, the leaves and stems.
